Delivery Information


NOTE:  All orders are shipped from Auckland. At present we only deliver within New Zealand.  Please read our Delivery Terms at the bottom of this page.

Target times 

1-2 days delivery: Although we use an overnight courier service, there are times when deliveries may take an extra day to arrive*. Orders must be placed by 2pm the day prior to delivery for overnight nationwide delivery to be possible, although not guaranteed. Please note that we do not offer overnight delivery to the South Island - allow 2-3 working days extra for SI delivery.

*Our reputable courier service does their utmost to adhere to next-day delivery targets. However, we are unable to offer refunds if, due to some unforeseen event, the parcel does not arrive the next day. 

Rural delivery: add 1-3 days to standard delivery time.

Urgent delivery: We are often able to arrange urgent deliveries. Please contact us to discuss options and cost BEFORE placing your order.

Orders placed after 2pm Friday or over the weekend will be dispatched the following Monday.

Public holidays: there are no deliveries on a public holiday. Orders placed on a public holiday will be dispatched on the next working day.


There is no additional charge for Signature Required delivery. Please request this by checking this option in the shopping cart.


It is advisable to place your order well in advance during busy gifting periods such as Christmas, Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother’s and Father’s Day.


The delivery prices quoted are per item. More than 4 items sent to the same address in a single order will qualify for free shipping.


At present we only deliver within New Zealand. Different rates apply for North & South Island Urban and Rural Delivery. Delivery charges are calculated at checkout. Please contact us if you have any queries.

We do not deliver to PO Boxes or Private Boxes/Bags.

Hospital Deliveries: We advise gifts be sent to private homes as there can be delays in delivery to the recipient within the hospital system. Should you request a hospital delivery, please be sure to include the patient's correct name and the ward number.


Ivy Studio will make every effort to have your goods delivered on your preferred date or within the estimated delivery time frames, but time will not be of the essence and we will not be liable for late delivery. A late delivery or delivery not on your preferred date does not entitle you to a refund of the delivery fee.

We accept no responsibility for any errors you make when entering orders, delivery instructions, card messages or other information. If an order needs to be redelivered as a result of an incorrect address, any additional delivery charge may be passed on to the customer.

Delivery will be deemed to have been made when it is left at the address nominated in your order, or when a "Card to Call" delivery slip has been left at that premises. Ivy Studio shall be entitled to assume that any person accepting delivery of the Products is either the Customer or someone that is authorised to do so on behalf of the Customer. If you are concerned about something going missing or not being left in a suitable place, we recommend you request the "Signature Required" delivery service at no extra cost to you. 

The product is at your risk as soon as it is delivered to you. Ivy Studio is not liable for any loss or damage arising after delivery has taken place. This includes loss or damage resulting from delivery to an unattended address where the recipient has granted permission to leave the goods unattended. If an order is returned to our warehouse for any reason, including because the recipient failed to collect the order from their local courier base, an additional delivery fee will be payable by the customer.
